He is a proud dad of three children, Morgan, James and Charlie and two step children, Rachel and Heather. As a family, the Macdonald’s enjoy playing outside together and caring for 4 dogs, 1 cat, and numerous aquatic residents of Horseshoe Lake, the population of which varies depending on what wanders in and out, and what the kids add and remove.
A dedicated sports fan, AJ supports CSU football, tracks Kansas City Chiefs Football, KU basketball, and Colorado Avalanche hockey. Recreationally, AJ is an avid sportsman – fishing for everything from sunfish to sharks, and hunting small and big game.
